FOR ORGANIZATIONS

Bring practice into leadership, teams, and conflict.

Lectures, workshops, and customized developmental training for organizations that want more than concepts.

Miles works with leaders, teams, and professional groups to develop greater presence, embodied awareness, communication capacity, and skill in meeting complexity.

An engagement can begin with a single lecture or experiential session, or develop into a longer training process shaped around the needs of the organization.

THE PRACTICE

How do we stay present, responsive, and connected when the situation becomes difficult?

WHY THIS WORK

Insight matters. Capacity matters more.

Most teams do not struggle because they lack information.

The harder challenge is what happens when pressure rises, perspectives collide, communication narrows, or familiar habits begin running the room.

That is where practice becomes useful.

The work is designed to help people notice what is happening, regulate themselves more effectively, communicate with greater clarity, and remain capable of choice in moments that normally trigger reaction.

AREAS OF WORK

Training shaped around the realities of your organization.

The emphasis depends on the people, context, and challenges you are actually facing.

01

LEADERSHIP & PRESENCE

Stay grounded when the pressure rises.

Develop attention, self-awareness, embodied presence, and the ability to respond deliberately rather than react automatically.

02

COMMUNICATION & CONFLICT

Work with difference without losing connection.

Strengthen the capacity to listen, speak clearly, navigate tension, and remain engaged across disagreement.

03

MINDFULNESS & EMBODIMENT

Move awareness out of the head and into action.

Use contemplative and embodied practices to develop greater attention, regulation, responsiveness, and presence.

04

DEVELOPMENTAL AWARENESS

Increase the capacity to hold complexity.

Explore how perspective, identity, assumptions, and developmental patterns shape leadership and organizational life.

LECTURES & KEYNOTES

A focused experience can be enough to open the door.

Not every organization needs to begin with a training program.

A lecture or keynote can offer a concentrated introduction to an important theme, create a shared language, and invite people into a different way of seeing leadership, conflict, awareness, or development.

These sessions can stand on their own as a one-time experience, or serve as an entry point into deeper workshops, team development, or longer-term training.

01

Conferences and professional gatherings

02

Leadership events and offsites

03

Team learning and development sessions

04

Entry points into deeper organizational work

NOT OFF THE SHELF

Start with the real situation.

The work is not built around forcing an organization into a predefined program.

We begin with context: What is happening now? Where is the friction? What capacities would genuinely make a difference?

From there, Miles can shape the work around the people involved, the culture of the organization, and the practical outcomes the engagement is meant to support.

01

Context before curriculum.

02

Practice before abstraction.

03

Embodiment before performance.

04

Integration before inspiration.

POSSIBLE FORMATS

Different contexts call for different containers.

An engagement can be a single event, a focused workshop, or an ongoing development process.

01

Lectures & keynotes

A focused one-time experience around a specific theme, or an entry point into deeper training and development.

02

Leadership sessions

Focused work with leaders around presence, communication, conflict, and developmental capacity.

03

Team workshops

Experiential sessions built around the challenges a team is actually facing together.

04

Seminars & intensives

Deeper training around a specific theme, skill set, or developmental challenge.

05

Ongoing development

Longer engagements where practice can be revisited, applied, and integrated over time.
