A PLACE TO PRACTICE

Practice is easier to sustain when you're not doing it alone.

Come as you are. Sit together. Ask questions. Explore the Dharma. Stay connected to the practice.

WHY A COMMUNITY?

Meditation was never meant to be only something you do alone.

A meditation practice can begin in solitude. But over time, deeper questions emerge.

01

How do you work with resistance?

02

What happens when practice becomes difficult?

03

How do you sustain a practice over time?

04

How do insight, development, relationships, and everyday life fit together?

05

Where can I go to talk about these things?

The Deep End is a place for those conversations.

INSIDE THE DEEP END

A place to practice, inquire, and stay connected.

The Deep End brings together the parts of practice that are easier to sustain when we do them in relationship with others.

01

PRACTICE

Practice together.

Sit with others, join live gatherings, and make practice part of a rhythm that can actually continue over time.

02

EXPLORE THE DHARMA

Go beyond the surface.

Explore Dharma themes and teachings that connect meditation practice with the larger questions of how we live and develop.

03

ASK REAL QUESTIONS

Bring what is actually happening.

Meditation raises questions. Bring the difficult ones, the practical ones, and the things you are not sure how to work with.

04

PRACTICE WITH OTHERS

Stay connected to Sangha.

You don't have to figure everything out alone. Practice alongside people who are also exploring what it means to live the practice.

No performance. No need to have it figured out. Just a place to practice.

LIVE TOGETHER

Two ways to practice together each month.

The Deep End isn't only a place to read and discuss. We come together for live practice and teaching.

01 MONTHLY

LIVE TEACHING

Dharma Sessions

A monthly live session with Miles exploring a Dharma theme and how it meets the reality of practice and life.

Teaching Meditation Inquiry
02 MONTHLY

SHARED PRACTICE

Sangha Practice

A monthly opportunity to sit together, practice together, and experience the simple value of showing up with others.

Sitting Silence Sangha

You don't have to attend everything. These gatherings are invitations to keep practice alive.

IS THIS FOR YOU?

The Deep End may be a good place for you if...

01

Deepen Your Practice

You have a meditation practice and want to deepen it rather than simply collect more information.

02

Explore the Dharma

You are curious about the Dharma and want to explore what meditation means beyond technique.

03

Ask Real Questions

You value honest questions and conversations about what actually happens in practice.

04

Practice With Others

You want the support and perspective that comes from practicing alongside other people.

05

Find Your Community

You are looking for a community you can return to without needing to be caught up or “good enough.”

06

Live the Practice

You want meditation to become part of how you meet your actual life, not something separate from it.

You don't need to arrive with the right answers. Just bring your practice and your curiosity.

Miles Kessler

ABOUT MILES KESSLER

Decades of practice across contemplative and embodied traditions.

Miles is a meditation teacher, Aikido sensei, and founder of the Integral Dojo.

His work has been shaped by more than 25 years of meditation teaching and practice, intensive training in the Burmese Mahasi Vipassana tradition, decades of Aikido, and sustained inquiry into embodiment, development, relationship, and conflict.

The common thread is simple: practice should change how we meet life.

THE WORK

Meditation is not separate from life. The practice is learning to meet what is actually here.
