READY TO ENTER THE PROCESS?

Facilitation begins with the quality of your own presence.

The Integral Voice Process is not simply a collection of techniques. It is a practice of remaining present, curious, and spacious while another person encounters the different voices shaping their experience.

Over these 12 weeks, you will learn the structure of the process — but you will also work directly with the instrument through which all facilitation happens: yourself.

If you feel called to deepen your own integration while learning to guide others with greater clarity, compassion, and skill, I invite you to apply for the founding cohort.

— Miles

Integral Voice Process Practice. Facilitate. Integrate.

WHY THIS WORK MATTERS

Insight alone does not create integration.

Many experienced practitioners can recognize conflicting parts, psychological patterns, or moments of nondual awareness. But recognizing these perspectives is different from knowing how to work through and integrate them — or how to guide another person through them.

Without a skillful process, important insights can remain partial, fragmented, or difficult to embody.

01

IDENTIFICATION

We remain caught in one side of an inner conflict.

Even when we can see the polarity intellectually, one voice may still dominate how we think, feel, and act.

02

DISOWNED VOICES

What we exclude continues to influence us.

Disowned perspectives do not disappear simply because they remain outside conscious identification.

03

RESISTANCE

Resistance gets treated as an obstacle.

Without enough discernment, protective intelligence can be pushed aside instead of listened to and understood.

04

BYPASSING

Nondual insight can leave psychological material untouched.

Powerful states of awareness do not automatically resolve unfinished emotional, relational, or developmental patterns.

05

FACILITATION

Theory alone does not provide a reliable process.

A facilitator may understand the concepts while still lacking the structure, pacing, and discernment needed in real interaction.

06

INTEGRATION

An opening is not the same as embodiment.

Meaningful insight may arise without becoming integrated into behavior, relationships, identity, or everyday life.

THE QUESTION IS NOT ONLY WHAT YOU CAN SEE

The deeper question is whether you have a process for working skillfully with what becomes visible — in yourself and in another person.

FROM IDENTIFICATION TO RELATIONSHIP

You do not have to eliminate a voice to stop being controlled by it.

Every person contains a multitude of aspects of self — voices, energies, and perspectives. Some are familiar and dominant. Others have been pushed away, disowned, or left unheard.

The work begins by learning to differentiate from habitual identification. Instead of unconsciously becoming one voice, we learn to recognize it, hear it, and relate to it with greater awareness.

From there, new possibilities emerge: disowned perspectives can be heard, polarities can be held without immediately choosing sides, and awareness can open beyond the personal into compassion, wisdom, spaciousness, and nondual presence.

01

RECOGNIZE

See the voice that is shaping experience.

Notice which perspective is dominant without assuming that it represents the whole of who you are.

02

DIFFERENTIATE

Create space around identification.

Learn to separate enough from a familiar voice to hear it clearly without being completely organized by it.

03

INCLUDE

Make room for what has been disowned.

Encounter perspectives, qualities, and energies that may have been excluded from conscious identity.

04

RELATE

Develop a more spacious inner relationship.

Hold multiple perspectives with greater choice rather than allowing one part of the system to unconsciously run the whole.

THE AIM IS NOT SELF-ERASURE

The aim is to develop the capacity to hear, embody, and relate to each perspective without being unconsciously controlled by any one of them.

THE ROOTS OF THE PROCESS

Three streams. One integrated approach.

The Integral Voice Process brings together experiential parts work, contemplative practice, nondual insight, embodiment, and Integral perspectives within a practical facilitation method.

01

FOUNDATION

Classic Voice Dialogue Process

Originated by Drs. Hal and Sidra Stone, Voice Dialogue is an experiential method for contacting and speaking from the distinct selves or energy patterns within the psyche.

Giving voice to these different inner aspects helps us recognize our primary selves, encounter disowned perspectives, and develop greater freedom through integration.

02

CONTEMPLATIVE DIMENSION

Contemplative and Nondual Dimensions

Building on Voice Dialogue, the Integral Voice Process brings Western psychology into conversation with Buddhist wisdom and contemplative practice.

Moving between personal, polarized, and nondual perspectives helps bridge psychological integration and contemplative awakening — between momentary insight and its embodiment in everyday life.

03

INTEGRATION

The Integral Voice Process

Developed through more than 15 years of facilitation, Miles Kessler’s Integral Voice Process brings these methods into conversation with contemplative practice, embodiment, polarity work, and Integral perspectives.

The result is an approach that moves through personal, relational, and nondual dimensions while remaining grounded in practical facilitation skills.

The aim is not to eliminate any aspect of the self. It is to develop the capacity to hear, embody, and relate to each perspective without being unconsciously controlled by any one of them.

BY THE END OF THE TRAINING

You will be able to facilitate with greater clarity, range, and discernment.

The training is designed to help you work more skillfully with inner voices, polarity, resistance, emotional intensity, and shifts in perspective — while maintaining a grounded and trustworthy facilitation container.

01

THE CONTAINER

Facilitate with trust and structure.

Establish a trustworthy facilitation container, work with resistance respectfully, and recognize when a process should pause, shift, or end.

02

INNER VOICES

Work directly with distinct selves.

Help participants identify and speak from different inner voices, recognize primary, protective, and disowned selves, and support differentiation without rejecting any part of the person.

03

POLARITY

Hold opposing perspectives without taking sides.

Facilitate tension between different voices and perspectives without collapsing into one side, forcing resolution, or prematurely trying to make the conflict disappear.

04

PERSPECTIVE

Guide movement from personal to nondual perspectives.

Support shifts between personal, relational, and nondual perspectives while recognizing the difference between genuine realization and psychological bypassing.

05

EMOTIONAL INTENSITY

Stay grounded when the process deepens.

Hold emotional intensity with greater spaciousness and compassion while remaining attentive to the person, the process, and the limits of your role.

06

INTEGRATION

Close and integrate a process responsibly.

Recognize when enough has happened, help participants integrate what has emerged, and bring the facilitation process to a grounded and responsible close.

APPLYING THE METHOD

You’ll also develop the discernment to apply the Integral Voice Process appropriately within coaching, teaching, meditation, leadership, and group facilitation — while recognizing the limits of your competence and when not to continue a process.

WHY EXPERIENCE MATTERS

Facilitation cannot be learned through theory alone.

The training is built around an experiential learning cycle. You learn the process by moving through it from multiple perspectives, then refining your facilitation through practice and feedback.

01

EXPERIENCE

Experience the process.

Discover how different interventions feel from the participant’s side.

02

OBSERVE

Observe the process.

Watch Miles demonstrate facilitation and explain the choices being made.

03

PRACTICE

Practice the process.

Facilitate progressively more complex exercises with members of your cohort.

04

FEEDBACK

Receive feedback.

Refine your language, pacing, presence, discernment, and ability to respond.

05

INTEGRATE

Integrate the process.

Apply what you learn within your own personal and professional context.

THREE ROLES. THREE PERSPECTIVES.

You will alternate between the roles of facilitator, participant, and observer. Each role develops a different dimension of facilitation mastery.

WHY A SMALL GROUP MATTERS

An intimate cohort of only 6–8 participants.

This is intentionally not a large online training. The cohort is kept small so that each participant can be seen, practice regularly, receive direct feedback, and develop within a consistent learning relationship.

01

DIRECT ACCESS

More contact with Miles.

A small cohort creates space for individual questions, direct guidance, and ongoing access to Miles throughout the training.

02

MORE PRACTICE

You participate rather than disappear.

You will have substantial opportunities to facilitate, participate, observe, and work directly with the method rather than remaining on the sidelines.

03

PERSONAL FEEDBACK

Feedback becomes specific to you.

Your language, pacing, presence, discernment, strengths, and blind spots can be addressed directly rather than through generic teaching alone.

04

TRUST

The group develops over time.

Working with the same people week after week allows trust to deepen and makes more nuanced practice possible.

05

RANGE

You encounter different facilitation styles.

A cohort exposes you to different personalities, voices, responses, and participation styles, expanding your range as a facilitator.

06

ACCOUNTABILITY

Your participation matters.

The small-group format creates a natural accountability for showing up, practicing, completing the learning journey, and contributing to the cohort.

YOU WILL NOT BE INVISIBLE HERE

In a large online course, it is possible to remain unseen. In this training, your presence, participation, and development are central to the process.

THE 12-WEEK LEARNING JOURNEY

A progressive path from foundations to applied facilitation.

The training unfolds in four phases. Each phase builds on the last, moving from basic structure and voice work into polarity, nondual facilitation, and integrated application.

PHASE 01

Foundations and the Facilitation Container

Weeks 1–3

01

WEEK 1

Entering the Landscape

Experience the full arc of the process and establish a shared map of Voice Dialogue, Big Mind, and the Integral Voice Process. The cohort will also create agreements around confidentiality, participation, consent, and feedback.

02

WEEK 2

Structuring a Facilitation Session

Learn how to open a session, establish the presenting issue, invite a voice, support separation, transition between perspectives, and bring the process to a grounded close.

03

WEEK 3

Primary and Disowned Selves

Learn to recognize the familiar voices that organize identity and the opposing perspectives that have been pushed out of awareness. Practice facilitating a foundational dialogue between distinct selves.

MILESTONE

Facilitate a short, structured Voice Dialogue process.

PHASE 02

Polarity, Resistance, and Emotional Agility

Weeks 4–6

04

WEEK 4

Meeting Resistance and Protecting Choice

Learn to recognize resistance as meaningful intelligence within the system. Develop the ability to slow down, seek consent, work with protective voices, and distinguish participant resistance from facilitator anxiety.

05

WEEK 5

Facilitating Polarities

Work directly with opposing perspectives such as strength and vulnerability, control and spontaneity, pleasing and assertion, autonomy and connection, or spiritual and human identity.

06

WEEK 6

The Aware Ego and Emotional Agility

Develop the ability to stand in conscious relationship to opposing voices without collapsing into either side. Explore the difference between integration, compromise, transcendence, and greater freedom of choice.

MILESTONE

Facilitate a complete polarity process and receive structured feedback.

PHASE 03

Big Mind, Big Heart, and Nondual Facilitation

Weeks 7–9

07

WEEK 7

Accessing Big Mind

Learn how to guide the transition from personal voices into universal and nondual awareness. Explore spaciousness, non-separation, and the distinction between accessing a state and embodying realization.

08

WEEK 8

Accessing Big Heart

Explore compassion as a universal perspective that includes suffering without becoming overwhelmed by it. Distinguish Big Heart from rescuing, pleasing, sentimentality, and self-sacrifice.

09

WEEK 9

Holding Space as Big Mind and Big Heart

Develop the facilitator’s capacity to hold the entire process with spacious awareness and compassionate attunement while tracking psychological content, emotional energy, embodiment, and the relational field simultaneously.

MILESTONE

Facilitate a movement from personal voices into Big Mind or Big Heart.

PHASE 04

Integration and Applied Facilitation

Weeks 10–12

10

WEEK 10

Integral Perspectives

Explore first-, second-, and third-person perspectives, as well as individual, relational, cultural, and systemic voices. Learn to recognize which perspective may serve the participant without imposing a developmental agenda.

11

WEEK 11

Complete Facilitation Practicum

Guide a complete process incorporating contracting, voice identification, differentiation, polarity, nondual perspectives, and integration. Receive feedback from Miles and the cohort.

12

WEEK 12

Integrating the Facilitator

Clarify your strengths, developmental edges, ethical responsibilities, and appropriate applications of the method. Create an individual plan for continued practice, mentoring, and development.

MILESTONE

Leave with an honest assessment of what you are ready to facilitate and what requires further development.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

A few things to know before you apply.

The Integral Voice Process is an intimate, practice-based facilitator training. These answers clarify the scope of the program, participation expectations, and what the application process involves.

No. This is training in Miles Kessler’s Integral Voice Process. It draws on Voice Dialogue, Big Mind, contemplative practice, embodiment, polarity work, and Integral perspectives, but it is not an official certification from Big Mind or Voice Dialogue.

No. Participants may come from coaching, therapy, meditation, teaching, facilitation, leadership, or other developmental backgrounds. What matters most is that you meet the participation requirements and have enough experience to engage responsibly with the work.

Facilitation practice is a central part of the training. You will alternate between the roles of facilitator, participant, and observer, progressively working with more complex exercises and receiving direct feedback throughout the 12-week journey.

Eligible training sessions will be recorded and made available during the training period. Because this is an experiential small-group process, some material may not be recorded or shared when confidentiality or participant privacy requires otherwise.

This is not a clinical trauma-treatment training. The program includes attention to boundaries, consent, resistance, scope of competence, and when not to continue a process. Participants are expected to work within their existing professional role and level of training.

You may cancel for a full refund until 14 days before the program begins. After that date, tuition is non-refundable because your place has been reserved in this intimate cohort. If Miles cancels the training, all tuition paid will be refunded.

Begin by completing the application. Miles will review your background, experience, and reasons for joining. If the training appears to be a strong fit, you’ll be invited to the next step in the enrollment process. Because the cohort is limited to 6–8 participants, acceptance is required before enrollment is completed.
